Milwaukee Brewers Sign Former All-Star Pitcher

The Milwaukee Brewers have one of the most potent rotations in all of baseball, highlighted by Corbin Burnes and Brandon Woodruff (IL right now), and now, they've signed a former All-Star to a major league deal, signalling he could join the rotation soon.

That would be former Atlanta Braves pitcher Julio Teheran, who has been with the San Diego Padres this season before opting out, not once but twice of his deal, and now, sporting a 5.62 ERA across 40 innings in Triple-A, he has moved on and joined Milwaukee.

His best seasons may have come in 2014 and 2016 when he was named an MLB All-Star, but he has shown flashes of still being that pitcher, posting a sub-3.85 ERA in both 2018 and 2019, and if he can find his groove again, he could be a solid addition to this Brewers squad.
