Los Angeles Dodgers Promising Young Pitcher Placed On 60-Day IL

The Los Angeles Dodgers may be flying high atop the National League West division, but unfortunately, they've had to deal with a lot of injury issues thus far this season, and unfortunately, they've just given an update on a young pitcher that fans certainly didn't want to hear.

After leaving his May 17 start with a flexor pronator strain, young starter Dustin May was revealed to be missing four to six weeks, and now, the team have officially placed him on the 60-day Injured List, extending the time he will be out.

The 25-year old was off to a great start in 2023 with a 4-1 record along with a 2.63 ERA over 48 innings, but unfortunately, he's just not been able to stay healthy throughout his career, and now will not be back until July at the earliest.
