New York Yankees Promote Slugging Outfielder From AAA

Despite their 15-12 record on the season, the New York Yankees have truly struggled for consistency all season long, and given all of the injuries that have occurred, perhaps that they can be excused for this, but with a World Series on their mind, they need to make some moves to find that momentum.

On Friday, the Yankees made another move that could be a good one for their big league club, as they officially called up Jake Bauers from AAA, with plenty of options on the roster to be a corresponding move to slot him into the lineup.

The 27-year old has three seasons of experience at the MLB level, and while he hasn't lit the world on fire yet, he's been great in 2023, hitting .304 with 9 home runs and 20 RBI's in 69 AB's this season, so the Yankees are hoping he can fill a position of need for this lineup.
