BREAKING: Texas Rangers Superstar Leaves Start With Injury

The Texas Rangers made arguably the biggest move of the off-season when they signed former New York Mets superstar starter Jacob DeGrom via free agency, but despite his undeniable talent as one of the best pitchers in baseball, the move came with inherent injury risk.

After three shutout innings against the New York Yankees on Friday, DeGrom unfortunately left the game with an injury, and while it's not been confirmed to be a serious injury, anything surrounding the two-time Cy Young Award winner isn't ideal.

While he hasn't started at his elite best in 2023, DeGrom has a 2-0 record along with a 3.04 ERA, and is leading a solid Rangers starting rotation, so the hope for the AL West contenders is that the injury won't be a long-term one.
