Texas Rangers: 2 Trade Candidates Heading to Opening Day

The Texas Rangers have high expectations for the 2023 season after another offseason of spending. However, it appears that they are still open to making other moves, as they are reportedly listening to offers for two players.

Dane Dunning: The Rangers have added several pitchers to their rotation this offseason, and it has made Dane Dunning expendable. As a result, the Rangers are open to moving him if it lands them another hitter for their roster. It is unlikely that Dunning will be able to find his way back into their rotation, so don't be surprised if he is moved before Opening Day.

Glenn Otto: Glenn Otto is another starter who the Rangers are open to moving for the same reason. Although he started in 27 games last season for Texas, their rotation is now too strong for him to be in it. As a result, expect teams like the Kansas City Royals, Cincinnati Reds, Baltimore Orioles, and Washington Nationals to make a push for the 6-foot-3 righty.
