San Francisco Giants: 2 Trade Candidates Heading to Opening Day

The San Francisco Giants are looking to get back into the postseason this campaign. Due to this, they are reportedly not done making moves, and these two players have been brought up as potential trade candidates because of it.

Joc Pederson: Joc Pederson thrived in his first season as a Giant, as he had 23 home runs, 70 RBIs, a .274 batting average, and was an All-Star. However, with Mitch Haniger and Michael Conforto being added to the Giants' roster this offseason, Pederson may be a bit expendable. Furthermore, with his trade value at its highest, San Francisco could use him to help improve their roster elsewhere. Keep in mind, they could use another middle infielder.

Alex Cobb: If the Giants struggle again this season, there's a good chance that we will see Alex Cobb moved. After all, the 35-year-old has a good amount of value, and the Giants would land a sweet return for him because of it. Expect to see teams like the Tampa Bay Rays, New York Yankees, Los Angeles Dodgers, and Houston Astros linked to him.
