Oakland A's Rumors: 2 Trade Candidates Heading to Opening Day

The Oakland A's have been tearing down their roster since last offseason and are showing no signs of stopping. As a result, they will likely make a few more moves before the start of the regular season. Here are two players who could be dealt because of it.

Tony Kemp: Tony Kemp has been picking up a lot of steam in the rumor mill, and this is only increasing with injuries already starting to pile up during spring training. Due to his ability to play the middle infield and outfield, he should garner a lot of interest now that he is available. Teams like the Boston Red Sox, Los Angeles Dodgers and Chicago White Sox stand out as possible landing spots.

Paul Blackburn: Paul Blackburn is another Athletic that we could see dealt before Opening Day. The righty's trade value is at its best after an All-Star 2022 season and he is under team control until 2026. Therefore, several teams would love to add him to their rotation.
