LA Angels Rumors: 2 Trade Candidates Heading to Opening Day

The Los Angeles Angels are a team to pay attention to this season when it comes to the trade market. If things hit the fan early this season, they will be major sellers and could trade away one of their biggest superstars because of it. Let's look at two of their trade candidates now.

Shohei Ohtani: The Angels are desperately trying to get Shohei Ohtani to sign a long-term extension with them, but the superstar is understandably considering his options. The Angels have had no success while having him and Mike Trout as their generational one-two punch, so it would not be surprising to see Ohtani elect to become a free agent. If the Angels struggle this season and Ohtani is not extended, look for a blockbuster move centering around him.

Jo Adell: Jo Adell has been in the rumor mill a lot this offseason, but at the time of this writing, he remains an Angel. However, when seeing as how he does not fit into their everyday lineup, expect the Halos to move him to help improve their roster elsewhere.
