Detroit Tigers: 2 Trade Candidates Heading to Opening Day

The Detroit Tigers are a team to pay attention to as we inch closer to Opening Day. It appears that they are not done making moves just yet, as these two players have been garnering plenty of attention in the rumor mill.

Austin Meadows: The Detroit Tigers' biggest move during last offseason was acquiring Austin Meadows from the Tampa Bay Rays. Now, a year later, there has been some chatter that they could be willing to move him for the right offer. Teams looking for a bit more power and outfield depth will certainly be calling the Tigers before Opening Day.

Jonathan Schoop: After a rough 2022 season, Jonathan Schoop has been made available for trade by the Tigers. Although he sported an immensely low .202 batting average in 131 games last season, teams still could be open to taking a chance on him when noting that he also had 22 home runs and a .278 batting average the season before.
