Cincinnati Reds: 2 Trade Candidates Heading to Opening Day

The Cincinnati Reds are in a full-on rebuild and have parted ways with multiple notable players over the last few years. Now, that is expected to continue, as two of their players have been coming up in trade talks as of late.

Jonathan India: The Reds have several impressive middle infielder prospects like Elly De La Cruz, Noelvi Marte, Matt McLain, and Edwin Arroyo. As a result, there have been rumblings that the Reds are willing to trade 2021 NL Rookie of the Year Jonathan India for the right price. Teams would need to offer a lot to successfully land him.

Alexis Diaz: Alexis Diaz is coming off of an excellent rookie season that saw him put up a 7-3 record to go along with a 1.89 ERA in 59 games. Yet, even though he was very good last year, he came up in trade talks during the deadline. Therefore, it does not seem too out of the question that the Reds are willing to hear offers for him. After all, his trade value is the highest it will ever be.
