Boston Red Sox Rumors: 3 Potential Landing Spots for Bobby Dalbec

The Boston Red Sox have been actively shopping Bobby Dalbec this offseason, but he has yet to find a new home. However, now that he is not expected to be a mainstay in their starting lineup, the Red Sox are reportedly stepping up their efforts to move him. Let's look at three potential landing spots for him.

St. Louis Cardinals: The St. Louis Cardinals could use a boost at DH, and Dalbec has the potential to provide them with just that. Although he is coming off of a down season, he did have a 25-home run campaign in 2021. Therefore, that could be enough of a reason for St. Louis to take a chance on him.

Washington Nationals: The Washington Nationals stand out as a team that could make a push for Dalbec. When looking at their current roster, it does not have too much pop, but Dalbec could help change things on that front. Furthermore, with the Nationals rebuilding, they are in a position to take a chance on a player with potential like Dalbec.

Oakland Athletics: The Oakland Athletics may be major sellers, but Dalbec could be a player that they would be interested in acquiring. This is because he is young enough that he could fit into a team's rebuild. With that, if he finds his old form, he would also become a valuable trading piece for them later down the road.
