Boston Red Sox Rumors: 2 Trade Candidates Heading to Opening Day

The Boston Red Sox are coming off of a disastrous 2022 season and have made changes to their group because of it. However, as we inch closer to the regular season, don't be surprised to see the Red Sox move out a few more players to cement their current group. Here are two trade candidates for Boston.

Bobby Dalbec: Bobby Dalbec has been discussed heavily in the rumor mill, but at the time of this writing, he is still a member of the Red Sox. However, the Red Sox's current depth chart does not currently have him as a regular in their lineup. With the Red Sox expected to role with Justin Turner at DH and Triston Casas at first, do not be surprised when Boston moves Dalbec out to improve their roster elsewhere.

Jarren Duran: Jarren Duran is the other Red Sox player who has been discussed a lot in the trade talks this offseason. Although a move has not happened yet, he is another player who could be dealt to land a middle infielder for Boston. Boston's outfield is crowded, so it would make sense to move on from him if it means landing help elsewhere.
