Baltimore Orioles Rumors: Free-Agent Reliever Becoming Target

The Baltimore Orioles are looking to build off of their strong 2022 season in 2023. As a result, they are reportedly considering adding to their bullpen, and old friend Zack Britton is on their radar.

Britton spent eight seasons as an Oriole from 2011 to 2018. Over that span, he was very effective, as he had a 30-22 record, 3.22 ERA, and 139 saves. With that, he was an All-Star twice while with Baltimore. As a result, it makes sense that the Orioles are considering the idea of bringing him back now that they are on the rise again.

Britton has been garnering interest around the league, however, so there is no guarantee that this reunion is officially on the way. However, it has the potential to be very good for the Orioles to bring him back. This is especially so when noting that he is finally healthy again.

Injury trouble limited Britton to three appearances last year, where he allowed a run in just 0.2 innings pitched.
