Atlanta Braves Lock Up Another Player With Multi-Year Deal

Ronald Acuna Jr., Ozzie Albies, Matt Olson, Austin Riley, Michael Harris II, and Spencer Strider have all been signed to multi-year deals by the Atlanta Braves.

Add Orlando Arcia to that list, as the Braves and Arcia have agreed to a three-year, $7.3 million deal with a club option for 2026.

The Braves had a $2 million club option for Arcia in 2024, but they got ahead of it and have locked the 28-year-old up for a few more years.

With Vaughn Grissom not making the Opening Day roster, Arcia is set to serve as the everyday shortstop for the Braves, however, there's a good chance he'll become more of a utility man as the season progresses.

Last season with the Braves, Arcia posted a .244/.316/.416 triple-slash line, with nine home runs, 30 RBIs, and 25 runs scored across 67 games played.

He's entering his eighth MLB season, having spent the first six with the Milwaukee Brewers.

It's a nice, affordable deal for the Braves and their useful infielder.
