Bringing him back.

The Seattle Mariners have signed pitcher Taylor Williams to a minor-league contract.

Williams spent the entire season at Triple-A Tacoma last year, recording a 4.69 ERA, 1.48 WHIP, and 68 strikeouts over 63.1 innings of work. He made three starts, 47 relief appearances, converted one save and held a 2-1 record.

For his five-year career in the majors, the thirty-one-year-old holds a 5.29 ERA, 1.56 WHIP, and 105 strikeouts across 98.2 innings. He's spent time with the Milwaukee Brewers, San Diego Padres, Miami Marlins and the Mariners.

Williams is a former fourth-round pick by the Brewers in the 2013 MLB Draft.
