Minnesota Twins Sign Pitcher

The Minnesota Twins add to their pitching depth.

The Twins have signed pitcher Tyler Webb to a minor-league contract.

Webb spent last season with the Long Island Ducks of the independent Atlantic League.

He last appeared in the majors with the St. Louis Cardinals in the 2021 season, recording a disastrous 13.22 ERA, 2.51 WHIP, and 14 strikeouts over 16.1 innings and 22 relief appearances.

However, Webb had been a solid reliever for several years prior to that.

For his major-league career, Weeb holds a 4.97 ERA, 1.37 WHIP, and 104 strikeouts across 121.1 innings of work. He's spent time with the St. Louis Cardinals, San Diego Padres, New York Yankees and the Milwaukee Brewers.

He adds to the Twins' pitching depth.

Webb is a former 10th-round pick by the Yankees in the 2013 MLB Draft.
