MLB Rumors: San Francisco Giants In Talks With Free Agent Pitcher

He missed all of the 2022 season.

According to Susan Slusser of the San Francisco Chronicle, the San Francisco Giants have been in talks with free agent pitcher Evan Marshall.

Marshall missed the entire 2022 season recovering from Tommy John surgery that he underwent back in October of 2021.

Marshall last pitched in 2021 with the Chicago White Sox, posting a 5.60 ERA, 1.35 WHIP, and 26 strikeouts over 27.1 innings of work.

The thirty-two-year-old right-handed pitcher holds a decent 4.19 ERA, 1.49 WHIP, and 180 strikeouts across 193.1 innings in the majors since 2014.

Marshall is a former fourth-round pick by the Arizona Diamondbacks in the 2011 MLB Draft.
