The Oakland Athletics are currently in a full-on rebuild, and they already traded away several veterans over the last year because of it. Now, the trend is likely to continue, as they are reportedly shopping Tony Kemp.

Kemp may not be a star, but his versatility and speed could make him a nice addition to a team looking to add to their depth. With the A’s being one of the worst teams in baseball, they should be looking to take advantage of his trade value, as they could land a decent return for the veteran.

Teams that missed out on big-name free agents are likely going to consider the prospect of making a push for Kemp from here. A change of scenery could do him good, but we will have to wait and see if he ends up being moved before the start of the regular season.
