MLB Rumors: New York Yankees Making Push for Twins Slugger

The New York Yankees are reportedly trying to add another outfielder to their group before the start of the regular season. Most notable free agents have already found their new homes, so now they are browsing the trade market because of it. With Max Kepler available from the Minnesota Twins, it has been reported that the Yankees do in fact have him on their radar.

Kepler is due for a change of scenery, as he has struggled these last few seasons with the Twins. Yet, if he were to be acquired by a new team like the Yankees, it could provide him with the spark he needs to find his previous form. After all, he was an excellent power hitter not too long ago, and playing at Yankee Stadium could certainly help build up his home run totals again.

With the Yankees having World Series aspirations, they should certainly look to add a bit more power to their outfield group, and Kepler would give them just that. We will have to wait and see if the Yankees and twins end up striking a train centering around Kepler from here.
