MLB Rumors: 2 Teams Interested in Jurickson Profar

Jurickson Profar is one of the top free agents still available, so interest in his services is starting to skyrocket. Two new teams have entered the sweepstakes now, as the Texas Rangers and Miami Marlins are aiming to sign the outfielder, according to MLB insider Jon Heyman.

This only adds to the list of several teams that want to sign Profar. Ultimately, it makes sense that he is getting a lot of attention, as the regular season is rapidly approaching and teams are looking to make more additions before Spring Training.

In 152 games this past season with the San Diego Padres, he had 15 home runs, 58 RBIs, and a.243 batting average. Overall, he is continuing to show that he can be an effective hitter, so don't be surprised to see the Rangers and Marlins continue to make a push for him until he makes his decision.
