Minnesota Twins Sign Outfielder

Headed to Minnesota.

The Minnesota Twins have signed outfielder Ryan LaMarre to a minor-league contract.

LaMarre has moved from team to team over the past few seasons and did not appear in a major league game this past year.

During the 2021 season, LaMarre appeared in nine games with the New York Yankees, going just 4-for-21 at the plate with two home runs and four RBIs.

At Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre this past season, the thirty-four-year-old slashed an impressive .297/.409/.458 line, with five home runs, 21 RBIs, seven stolen bases and 33 runs scored across 155 at-bats.

He'll function as added outfield depth for the Twins.

LaMarre is a former second-round pick by the Cincinnati Reds in the 2010 MLB Draft.
