Cincinnati Reds Sign Pitcher

The Cincinnati Reds have added to their pitching depth, they have signed Alex Young to a minor league contract.

Young spent this past season split between the Cleveland Guardians and San Francisco Giants, where he had a 1-1 record to go along with a 2.36 ERA in 25 games. After a solid season like this, it is a little surprising to see that Young has had to settle for a minor league deal, but alas, he will now have to impress at Spring Training to earn himself a potential spot on the Reds' major league roster.

At worst, the Reds have added a pitcher with MLB experience to their depth. However, we will now need to wait and see if Young can provide more than just that for the Reds from here.
