Cincinnati Reds Sign Pitcher


The Cincinnati Reds make another move.

The Reds have signed pitcher Zack Brown to a minor-league contract.

Brown spent last season in the Milwaukee Brewers minor league system, where he posted a 3.93 ERA, 1.19 WHIP, and 51 strikeouts over 50.1 innings of work. In 49 relief appearances, he converted three saves and held a 2-0 record.

For his minor-league career, the twenty-eight-year-old has a 3.81 ERA, 1.34 WHIP, and 437 strikeouts 470 innings of work.

Brown is a former fifth-round pick by the Brewers in the 2016 MLB Draft. He'll look to finally make his major league debut this season with the Reds.
