Chicago White Sox Sign Pitcher

The Chicago White Sox have made a depth move, as they have signed veteran pitcher Mike Morin to a minor league contract.

Morin last appeared in the majors during the 2020 season when he was a member of the Miami Marlins. During that campaign, he made three appearances, where he pitched four scoreless innings. Yet, since then, he has not pitched in the majors, but now he will be hoping for the opportunity to change that with the White Sox organization.

For Morin to have any chance of making the majors, he will need to impress at Spring Training. From there, the White Sox may be open to the idea of selecting his contract to their 40-man roster.

In 241 career MLB games, he has a 12-11 record to go along with a 4.57 ERA.
