Oakland Athletics Sign Infielder

The Oakland Athletics have signed Jace Peterson to a two-year contract.

Peterson spent this past season with the Milwaukee Brewers, where he had eight home runs, 34 RBIs, and a .236 batting average. Overall, it was a year of mixed results for the 32-year-old, but it was still enough for Oakland to feel comfortable locking him up to this multi-year deal.

With the A's rebuilding, they are not going to make any big signings. Yet, even with this being so, Peterson gives them a decent utility option to work with, as he can play second base, third base, and the outfield. Let's see how he ends up doing for the A's from here.
