Milwaukee Brewers Outright Catcher

Milwaukee Brewers catcher Alex Jackson has cleared waivers and has since been outrighted by the club.

Jackson appeared in five games with the Brewers this season, where he had three hits in 12 at-bats. He spent the majority of this year in the minors, however. In 33 minor league games on the year, he had two home runs, 18 RBIs, and a .224 batting average. Overall, it was a fairly quiet year for him.

Jackson has shown in the past that he can hit well for power, as he had 28 home runs and 65 RBIs with Triple-A Gwinnett in 2019. Perhaps if he can get his numbers up to that area again, it will lead to the Brewers giving him another shot in the majors. Alas, time will tell on that front.
