Los Angeles Dodgers Sign Pitcher

The Los Angeles Dodgers have signed pitcher Lucas Williams to a minor league contract. This is not to be confused with outfielder Luke Williams, who the Dodgers claimed off waivers last month and then released. 

Williams has not pitched since the 2017 season, but now he is ready to get his career going again with the Dodgers organization. Following his signing, Los Angeles assigned him to Triple-A Oklahoma City, so he will be aiming to put together a big year in OKC from here.

This is a low-risk move by the Dodgers and provides them with a bit more pitching depth for next season. We will have to wait and see how Williams performs from here.
