Kansas City Royals Bring Back Catcher

The Kansas City Royals have signed Jakson Reetz to a minor league contract.

Reetz is a familiar face, as he spent time as a part of the Royals organization this past season. In 104 games split between Double-A and Triple-A, he had 30 home runs, 82 RBIs, and a .264 batting average. Needless to say, he had a productive year at the plate, and now he will be aiming to translate that over to 2023.

It will be intriguing to see if Reetz can impress at Spring Training and earn himself a spot on their major league roster from here.
