Pirates Reliever Signs In Korea

He made his major league debut this past season.

Now, pitcher Beau Sulser is headed to Korea.

Sulser has agreed to a deal with the KT Wiz of the Korea Baseball Organization.

The deal is for one year and $740,000. Sulser was outrighted off the Pittsburgh Pirates' 40-man roster earlier this month.

This past season, over the first 22.1 innings of his major league career, Sulser posted a 3.63 ERA, 1.48 WHIP, and 19 strikeouts. Over his minor-league career, the twenty-eight-year-old holds a 4.12 ERA, 1.36 WHIP, and 321 strikeouts over 373 innings of work.

Sulser was a 10th-round pick by the Pirates in the 2017 MLB Draft.
