MLB Rumors: San Francisco Giants Linked to Pitcher

After a rough 2022 season, the San Francisco Giants are ready to make big changes to their roster. While speaking with John Shea of the San Francisco Chronicle, Giants president Farhan Zaidi noted that Koudai Senga is "very physically talented" and that they've "heard great things" about the 29-year-old pitcher on a personal level. Needless to say, it's clear that the Giants are interested in him.

However, if the Giants hope to sign him, they are going to go up against a plethora of teams. It is understandable, as Senga is coming off of a truly wonderful 2022 season with the Fukuoka Softbank Hawks, he had an 11-6 record to go along with a 1.89 ERA in 23 appearances. Now, he will be aiming to translate that kind of dominance over to the MLB.

We will have to wait and see if the Giants can end up winning the Senga sweepstakes from here.
