MLB Rumors: Chicago White Sox Linked to Free-Agent Pitcher

According to Ken Rosenthal, the Chicago White are "showing strong interest" in free-agent pitcher Mike Clevinger.

After appearing in just eight games in 2020 and none in 2021, Clevinger pitched in 23 games this season for the San Diego Padres. During them, he put together a 7-7 record to go along with a 4.33 ERA. Overall, it is fair to say that the 31-year-old starter had a bit of struggles in his return to the mound. However, as he continues to shake the rust off, there's reason to believe that he can turn things around when noting his past success in the league.

In 128 career MLB games, Clevinger has put together a 51-30 record and a 3.39 ERA. Let's see if the righty ends up joining the White Sox from here.
