Milwaukee Brewers Pitcher Elects Free Agency

Josh Lindblom has elected to become a free agent, thus ending his tenure with the Milwaukee Brewers.

Lindblom inked a three-year, $9.1 million deal with the Brewers back in 2019 after performing well overseas, but that, unfortunately, did not translate over to the majors. In 20 games between the 2020 and 2021 seasons, he had a 2-4 record to go along with a 6.39 ERA. With that, he did not make a single appearance in the majors in 2022.

Lindblom will now be testing his luck on the open market. The 6-foot-4 righty comes with 134 games of experience, where he has a 7-12 record and a 4.78 ERA. Teams in need of some pitching depth could give him a call, so let's see where he ends up from here.
