Milwaukee Brewers Infielder Staying Put

Kolten Wong is staying put, as the Milwaukee Brewers have picked up his $10 million club option.

This was a pretty expected decision from Milwaukee, as Wong had a solid year with the Brew Crew in 2022. In 134 games, he had 15 home runs, 47 RBIs, and a .251 batting average. Now, he will be aiming to put together an even better campaign for Milwaukee in 2023 from here.

Wong will likely serve as the Brewers starting second baseman again, where his solid defensive play will be greatly appreciated. We will need to wait and see how this upcoming season goes for him, but at the end of the day, the Brewers likely made the right call by bringing him back.
