Houston Astros Manager Staying Put

While speaking with Mark Berman of Houston's FOX 26, Houston Astros manager Dusty Baker announced that he will be back as the team's manager.

A new contract has not been finalized just yet, but Baker noted that they are still working on it. However, given the fact that he just led the Astros to their second World Series title, they naturally would love to have the legend back for another year at least.

Baker's outstanding managerial career is set to continue, and that's great to see. In 3,884 games in the role, he has put together a 2,093-1,790-1 record to go along with a World Series ring, three Manager of the Year Awards, and three pennants. Let's see what he does for the Astros in 2023.
