Free Agent Outfielder Drawing ''Broad'' Free Agent Interest

''It is Christmas for the Confortos.''

Those are the words of agent Scott Boras speaking of the ''broad'' free agent market interest in his client Michael Conforto.
''It is Christmas for the Confortos,'' Boras told reporters at the GM meetings in Las Vegas.

Conforto did not play baseball at any level in 2022 due to a shoulder injury that required surgery in April, but he is now healthy and apparently has a variety of offers to choose from looking to the 2023 season and beyond.

The twenty-nine-year-old holds a career .255/.356/.468 slash line, with 132 home runs, 396 RBIs, 18 stolen bases and 400 runs scored over the first seven seasons of his major league career, all with the New York Mets.
