Boston Red Sox Offer Starter Multi-Year Contract

The Boston Red Sox have offered Nathan Eovaldi a multi-year contract, according to Rob Bradford of WEEI.

Eovaldi has been a key part of Boston's rotation for the last five seasons, so it makes sense that they are hoping to re-sign him from here. However, now that free agency is here, there is no guarantee that he will come back to the Red Sox. The 6-foot-2 righty is surely going to get a plethora of offers, so we will have to wait and see where he ends up from here.

In 20 appearances this past season with the Red Sox, Eovaldi had a 6-3 record to go along with a 3.87 ERA.
