Pirates Claim Pitcher Off Waivers

He made six appearances with the Baltimore Orioles this season.

The Pittsburgh Pirates have claimed pitcher Beau Sulser off of waivers from the Orioles.
Sulser was designated for assignment by the Orioles earlier this week after he posted a decent 3.63 ERA, 1.48 WHIP, and 19 strikeouts over 22.1 innings of work.

The twenty-eight-year-old was actually claimed off of waivers by the Orioles from the Pirates earlier in the season, and he pitched to a 3.55 ERA and 1.50 WHIP in 12.2 innings.

Sulser now returns to Pittsburgh where he'll take over his old role as pitching depth for the organization.
