Brewers Outright Pitcher

He missed the final three months of the season.

The Milwaukee Brewers have sent pitcher Miguel Sanchez outright to Triple-A Nashville.
Sanchez missed the final three months of the regular season due to elbow trouble.

The twenty-eight-year-old right-handed pitcher was placed on the 60-day injured list in August, and now remains off the 40-man roster.

In 13.1 innings of work this season, Sanchez held a 4.05 ERA, 1.50 WHIP, and nine strikeouts. For his career, Sanchez has registered a 4.12 ERA, 1.55 WHIP and 32 strikeouts across 39.1 innings.

He still could compete for a bullpen spot in the spring.
