Baltimore Orioles Designate 2 Players for Assignment

The Baltimore Orioles have designated Beau Sulser and Louis Head for assignment.

Sulser appeared in his first 10 MLB games this season, split between the Pittsburgh Pirates and Baltimore Orioles. He joined the Orioles on a waiver claim, so being DFA'd is familiar territory for the righty. Given the fact that he garnered interest on the wire before, perhaps we could see him get claimed yet again by another club.

Like Sulser, Head also was a waiver pickup by the Orioles. Head began the season with the Miami Marlins before joining the Orioles. In 28 games split between the two clubs, he had a 0-0 record and a 6.28 ERA. Yet, he put together a solid five-game stint with the O's, as his 1.80 ERA shows effectively. We will have to wait and see if another club takes a chance on him from here.
