Astros Lock in Starter for ALCS Game 1

The New York Yankees may be celebrating a series win, but the job's not finished. In fact, it only gets tougher.

Less than 24 hours after their victory, in a stadium 1,600 miles away, the Yankees will face Cy-Young favorite Justin Verlander in Game 1 of the ALCS.
Verlander will be looking to put last Tuesday's Game 1 against the Seattle Mariners behind him, where he was torched for six runs and 10 hits over four innings of work. However, thanks to some late-game heroics from Yordan Alvarez, the Houston Astros managed to come away with a win.

Verlander will be making his 32nd career postseason start since 2006.

The thirty-nine year put together another fabulous season, registering a stellar 1.75 ERA, 0.83 WHIP, and 185 strikeouts over 175 innings of work. He held an 18-4 record.
