San Francisco Giants Infielder Clears Waivers

Lewis Brinson will be staying with the San Francisco Giants organization, as he has cleared waivers and been outrighted to Triple-A.

Brinson was designated for assignment a few days ago, so his placement on the waiver wire was inevitable. However, he will now remain as a part of the Giants' depth for the time being. However, due to the fact that he has over three years of MLB experience, he has the option to elect free agency.

In 16 games this season as a Giant, Brinson has three home runs, four RBIs, and a very low .167 batting average.
