Rockies Recall Pitcher

The Colorado Rockies have recalled pitcher Ty Blach from Triple-A Albuquerque.
Blach will join the Rockies bullpen on Wednesday night in San Francisco.

The thirty-one-year-old has posted a 6.30 ERA, 1.45 WHIP, and 22 strikeouts across 40 innings pitched this season. In 20 games, he's made one start, converted one save, and holds a 1-0 record.

In the minors this season, Blach has registered a pedestrian 4.50 ERA, 1.44 WHIP, and 20 strikeouts over 36 innings of work. He's made 14 relief appearances, one start, and posted an ugly 1-5 record.
