Pirates Recall Pitcher

The Pittsburgh Pirates have recalled pitcher Eric Stout from Triple-A Indianapolis.

Stout replaces Tyler Beede, who was designated for assignment by the Pirates on Thursday.
Stout owns a 4.35 ERA, 1.65 WHIP, and 23 strikeouts over 20.2 innings in the majors this season. The Pirates acquired Stout from the Chicago Cubs back in June.

It's yet another trip from Indianapolis to Pittsburgh that Stout has become so accustomed to making.
