New York Mets Outright Pitcher

Adonis Medina has cleared waivers and has since been outrighted to Triple-A by the New York Mets.

Medina appeared in a career-high 14 games for the Mets this campaign, where he had a 1-0 record, but also a very high 6.08 ERA. Thus, this demotion isn't all too surprising to see, and now the 25-year-old will be aiming to impress back down in Triple-A.
With Medina still being only 25 years old, it seemed possible that another team would take a chance on him. Instead, he will remain with the Mets organization and try to land a spot on their 40-man roster again. Time will tell what happens on that front.
