Minnesota Twins Call Up Catcher

The Minnesota Twins have called up Ryan Jeffers to their major league roster.

This move is in response to Sandy Leon being done for the remainder of the 2022 season. The Twins, naturally, needed to call up a catcher to replace Leon, and they have done just that with Jeffers.

This is a good opportunity for Jeffers to show Minnesota that he belongs in the majors from here. He already has appeared in 60 games for them this season, where he has seven home runs, 25 RBIs, and a .214 batting average. It will be intriguing to see if he can improve these stats with the Twins for the remainder of the season from here.
