Giants Recall Infielder

He seems to perform better in the majors than the minors.

The San Francisco Giants have recalled infielder Jason Vosler from Triple-A Sacramento.

Vosler will replace Lewis Brinson on the active roster.

The twenty-nine-year-old has hit an impressive .286/.346/.889, with four home runs, 11 RBIs, one stolen base and 11 runs scored across 70 plate appearances with the Giants this season. Oh, and on Wednesday night, batting seventh in the lineup against the Colorado Rockies, Vosler went 1-for-4 with a triple, an RBI and a run scored.

It's very odd that he enjoys this much success in the majors, as in the minors this season Vosler has hit a pedestrian .242/.311/.744, with 18 home runs, 47 RBIs, four stolen bases and 52 runs scored across 360 at-bats.

Whatever he's doing is working, however, and let's hope Jason Vosler can continue to enjoy success at the major league level.
