The right-handed pitcher suffered the injury during Tuesday's start against the St. Louis Cardinals. He'll now be sidelined for the remainder of the regular season.
He leaves behind a 4.73 ERA, 1.46 WHIP, and just 69 strikeouts across 102.2 innings of work this season. Despite an injury-plagued season, the twenty-nine-year-old still made 21 starts, posting an ugly 6-10 record.
The Brewers are still in the hunt for a playoff spot, currently one-and-a-half games back of the Philadelphia Phillies for the third NL Wild Card spot.
