Video: New York Mets’ Brett Baty Homers In MLB Debut

When the New York Mets called up top prospect Brett Baty before Wednesday's game against the Atlanta Braves, Met fans were naturally excited to see what the rookie could do. He certainly left a fantastic first impression, as he hit a home run in his MLB debut.

What's even more impressive about Baty's home run was that it came in his first major league at-bat. That is very encouraging to see, and we will have to see what else he has in store from here.

The Mets would go on to defeat the Braves by a 9-7 final score.
