Video: Most Bizarre Batted Ball You’ve Ever Seen Goes Viral

Talk about a “groundout”… You’ve surely never seen one like this before. And just about everyone wants to see this bizarre, mesmerizing play. Over and over again…

In the bottom of the second inning, Columbus Clippers third baseman Ernie Clement sent an 0-1 pitch from Toledo Mud Hens pitcher Joey Wentz…straight down into the ground. Inches In front of the plate, submerged into the dirt. And it just… stayed there.

Clement appeared stunned, and after taking a half-hearted step towards first base, Mud Hens catcher Dustin Garneau scooped it out of the dirt and tagged Clement out.

With over one million views and counting as of late Wednesday night, everybody wanted to see this rarest of groundouts.
