Rockies Lose Two Players To Injury, AND Lose 13-0

It wasn't a pretty scene for the Colorado Rockies on Thursday. Right-hander Antonio Senzatela injured himself on a play trying to cover first base, and ended up writhing on the field in pain, holding his knee.

It's preliminarily being called a knee sprain, but they'll need to wait on imaging to learn more.

Rockies manager Bud Black called it "devastating... crossing our fingers, for sure." The 27-year-old is in the first year of a 5-year, $50.5M contract with the Rockies. He's got a 5.07 ERA and a 1.69 WHIP.

The Rockies also lost Charlie Blackmon to a hamstring injury, but his issue is considered day-to-day.

And to top it all off, to add insult to injuries, the Rockies were on the wrong end of a 13-0 loss to the St. Louis Cardinals.
